1. Who we are and what this policy covers
Merchants Cash Partners, LLC (MCP, we, us, or our) explains here how we handle personal information collected through our website, financing application, and related communications. This policy covers applicants, business owners whose details are supplied, and website visitors. A financing provider may give you a separate privacy notice for its own services. This policy does not replace any additional financial privacy notice required by law.
2. Information you provide
Depending on your inquiry and financing option, we collect contact details such as your name, email, phone number, and address; business details such as legal name, entity type, tax identification number, ownership, revenue, and operating history; and application details such as the financing requested and existing debt. Applications may also request owners’ dates of birth and Social Security numbers, property and mortgage-related information, personal income and assets, bank statements or other supporting documents, and your signature and authorization records. Only provide another person’s information if you are authorized to do so.
3. Information collected during your visit
Our hosting and security services process technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, request times, and pages requested. The website uses Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate traffic statistics, including pages visited, referrers, approximate location, and device or browser type. Vercel Web Analytics does not use third-party cookies. Our analytics integration removes query strings and URL fragments before sending page-view URLs.
4. Application drafts, cookies, and browser storage
The application uses a cookie that can remain for up to seven days to associate your browser with a saved application draft. Application information may be saved to our application system before final submission so you can continue the process. Limited funding choices and progress may also be stored in your browser. Clearing browser storage may remove your ability to resume on that device; it does not delete information already received by MCP. You can control cookies and local storage through your browser settings, although blocking them can affect application features.
5. How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries; save, review, and process applications; verify details and obtain reports where authorized and permitted; identify financing options; communicate about an application; provide support; operate and improve the website; prevent fraud and misuse; keep records; and meet legal obligations. We send marketing communications only as permitted by law and subject to applicable consent and opt-out choices.
6. When we share information
We share application information with financing partners involved in evaluating or providing the financing you request, as described in the authorization presented with your application. We also share information with service providers that support hosting, application storage and processing, document handling, communications, security, and analytics. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to respond to lawful requests, protect legal rights, or address fraud or security incidents. We do not sell applicant information or share it for unrelated companies’ marketing. We do not provide mobile opt-in consent to other companies for their own marketing.
7. Information from other sources
Where authorized and permitted, application review may include information from financing partners, credit reporting agencies, financial institutions, and verification providers. The application authorization describes the relevant permissions. A visit to the website alone is not permission to obtain your credit report.
8. Your choices and requests
To ask about your information or request access, correction, or deletion, contact us using the details below. Depending on where you live, the information involved, and applicable exceptions, you may have additional privacy rights, including rights to appeal a decision or use an authorized agent. We will handle requests under the law that applies and may need to verify your identity. Some records may need to be retained for legal, security, or transaction purposes. Do not send Social Security numbers, bank statements, or other sensitive documents in an ordinary email to make a privacy request.
9. Marketing preferences
Use the unsubscribe link in a marketing email, reply STOP to marketing texts, or contact us to opt out. Opting out of marketing does not cancel your application. We may still send necessary application, service, or legal communications as permitted by law. The website does not currently change its behavior in response to a browser’s Do Not Track signal. Essential application storage is used to provide the service you request.
10. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including processing and servicing inquiries, maintaining required records, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations. Retention depends on the information and applicable requirements. We use safeguards intended to protect information, but no online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
11. Children and external websites
Our financing services are intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can address it. External websites linked from our site have their own privacy practices; review their policies before providing information.
12. Changes to this policy
We will post changes here with an updated effective date and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required. A change to this policy does not remove rights you have under applicable law.
