A project or large purchase can put pressure on everyday cash flow. Before seeking financing, work out the expense and how much operating cash you need to keep available.
Expansion or rebranding
List the work, supplier quotes, and payment dates. Allow for the gap between spending the money and receiving any additional revenue.
A larger inventory order
Compare a bulk discount with storage costs, financing costs, and how long the stock will take to sell. A lower unit price can still leave too much cash tied up in unsold inventory.
Refinancing existing debt
Some financing programs allow eligible business debt to be refinanced. Check which balances qualify, then compare the new fees, payment schedule, and total repayment with your current obligations.
Choose the product after defining the expense. A working capital facility, equipment loan, and debt refinance may have different rules for how funds can be used.
